The social network aiming to become the world's largest bio-input research center
Farmers Business Network was founded in California as a platform for farmers to share data and ideas about their crops. Today, it aims to become a leading global player in the world of biologicals for agriculture. The company has a portfolio of around 24 biostimulants and could add another 50 in 2022, including biopesticides. Matthew Meisner, responsible for their R&D and data science divisions, explains the research and commercialization model with which they are making a difference in this area.
It started out as a kind of Facebook for farmers, but today it has become one of the most dynamic research and development centers for farm supplies in the world. This is Farmers Business Network (FBN), the Californian project founded in 2014 as an online platform for US farmers to exchange information about seed prices, productivity statistics and share experiences about their crops.
